wanted a song with chanting...it's hard to hear, but it's in there...
lyrics
Holy Lamb of God by mc
Jesus, You’re the maker of the universe
And I bow down in praise
Jesus, You’ve created me to worship You
So I bow down in praise
Of Your name
Of Your face
Of Your love
Of Your grace
Jesus
Of Your birth
Of Your life
Of Your death
That You were raised
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus
Chorus
Holy Lamb of God, redeemer of our lives
You take away our sins, will You have mercy on us?
Holy Lamb of God, the perfect sacrifice
You take away our sins, will You have mercy on us?
Holy Lamb of God, the payer of all price
You take away our sins, will You grant us Your peace now?
Grant us Your peace now
After 2nd Chorus tag this:
Grant us Your peace now
Grant us Your peace now
Grant us Your peace now
Redeemer of our lives
The perfect sacrifice
The payer of all price

it's such a beautiful album of grieving and loss and acceptance. it speaks to a particular kind of grief -- not a grieving of one who is lost, but the grieving for one who is still present and still causing pain. i love the last song most because while it could end in pain, or end with the narrators decision to permanently push this person out of their life and that would be justified, it doesn't. instead, it offers something. what is offered? acceptance. hope. and a chance for redemption janmisha

This album is perfect-my new favorite shalom sesh! I could listen to this all day, with tea, The Word, near a body of water as the peace of God washes over me. HalleluYah! I really like the lo-fi sound it reminds me of classics(JDilla, even Air). I can certainly feel the inspiration from Japan in this. The more I listen to JO the more I feel his love for Yeshua and it fills me so much love too. Glory to Abba for this beautiful work of art! It is soul medicine:) Shalom shalom Yaaqova
